UNIKA PRO-248

UNiKA PRO-248 is a professional active two-channel DI box that connects electric and electroacoustic guitars, basses, effects pedals and other high impedance sources to the balanced microphone inputs of a mixing console or external microphone preamplifier. Since PRO-248 uses the 48 V phantom power of the microphone preamplifier, no batteries or other power supplies are required.

INPUT CH1 and CH2: TRS connectors allow connection of a variety of unbalanced and balanced sources to the PRO-248. Typically these are high impedance signals from instrument pickups, but the PRO-248 can also be used as an ISO input for line level signals. One stereo or ztwo mono devices can be connected.

UNiKA PRO-248 is equipped with a UNiKA-PRO™ EI30A10E 1+1: 1+1 isolation transformers equipped, which has a special copper foil layer and a dedicated grounding layer making this device have a high signal-to-noise ratio and a dynamic sound restore and avoid unnecessary losses due to high frequency interference, grounding interference and potential differences can be avoided. PRO 248 is particularly suitable for electronic musical instruments, recording studios and fixed installation projects when using mixing consoles.
