Heinz Electrodynamic Design (HEDD) is a Berlin-based manufacturer of first-class audio equipment, serving music professionals and audiophiles around the world. Founded in 2015 by physicist Klaus Heinz and his son, mastering engineer Dr. Frederik Knop, the company manufactures studio monitors, subwoofers and main speakers, among other products. In 2020, the product line was expanded to include the first full-frequency-range AMT Signature HEDDphone. Producers, sound engineers, artists and high-end enthusiasts use HEDD for music production, mastering and home hi-fi. HEDD's mission is to build high-quality audio equipment in Germany that can cover a wide range of sounds and an eclectic spectrum of musical tastes.
