MADI is the optimum solution for the transmission of multiple audio channels. The technical problems of "normal" multicores, such as cable losses, interference, ageing processes, high weight and poor handling, do not occur here. A thin cable transmits up to 64 audio channels - completely loss-free - over distances of up to 2000 metres. RME has perfected the technology and at the same time made it significantly cheaper.
