RME provides a collection of 18 parametric EQ presets directly in the PEQ Editor via the “File” > “Load Factory” > “EQ Examples” menu option. ADI-2 Remote is a free remote control app from RME for macOS, Windows, and iPadOS. With it, you can conveniently control all ADI-2 series devices (such as the ADI-2 DAC, ADI-2 Pro, ADI-2 Pro EX, and ADI-2/4 Pro) via your computer or tablet. You won't need to adjust all parameters directly on the device using encoders and menus. Bidirectional communication via USB ensures that any adjustment made in the software is immediately applied to the hardware, and vice versa.
One of its key features is visual control of the five-band parametric equalizer, including bass and treble controls. This feature enables you to shape frequency curves directly on the screen and fine-tune them with different headphones or speakers. The app also manages input and output levels, as well as mute, dim, balance, routing, and volume linking functions.
Another major advantage is preset and setup management. You can save complete device configurations and individual EQ curves as files on your computer. You can manage and edit these files offline or exchange them between different ADI-2 devices.
