Ferrofish Introduces the New VERTOpro Dante Series

Ferrofish is expanding its product portfolio with the VERTOpro series, a professional platform for digital audio conversion and routing. The series seamlessly integrates Dante, ADAT, and MADI protocols into compact, 19-inch, 1-U devices.

The series includes three models: the VERTOpro 32 (a 32×32 ADAT-Dante converter and router), the VERTOpro 64 (a 64×64 ADAT-Dante converter and router), and the VERTOpro MX (a dual-MADI-Dante converter and router). The two ADAT models can be retrofitted with an MADI expansion module as needed. All models offer up to 64×64 Dante channels (Audinate Brooklyn), AES67 compatibility, and support for redundant networks and sample rates up to 192 kHz. The built-in single-channel routing matrix allows audio channels to be freely assigned between interfaces.

The MADI interfaces support two independent data streams, redundant operation, and MADI-to-MADI routing. Compared to previous VERTO units, the high-resolution, 3-inch, IPS color display enables full configuration directly on the device, including level meters, routing overviews, and clock status. These features are complemented by an integrated headphone output with an ESS D/A converter for direct monitoring, on-device storage for presets and Device Lock, and the ability to control the unit and perform firmware updates via USB-C and MIDI.
