To ensure optimal performance of the N Series, we ask all users to update their firmware and software to the latest versions. These are firmware version 1.11 for receivers and transmitters, and software version 1.4.1.
Faster updates thanks to USB-C support
Starting with version 1.4.1 of the DPA Audio Controller, the USB-C port on our bodypack and handheld transmitters is officially supported.
This new feature significantly speeds up firmware updates, saves valuable time, and ensures a smoother process.
To simplify compatibility checks in the field, DPA has standardized the package numbers. Starting with this version (1.11), a matching pair for receivers and transmitters will always be released.
Information on Batteries & Chargers
Important Note on Installation: Please remove the holders for standard alkaline batteries from the transmitters before inserting DPA’s rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs.
The charger itself can also be updated to the latest firmware via a USB-C connection. It is generally recommended to always use the latest version.
