The Pro Tools 2023.3 software update is available now and includes official support for running Pro Tools natively on Apple Silicon processors (M1/M2), more options for Elastic Audio processing, updates to the Scripting SDK, and numerous workflow enhancements, such as the ability to tab to automation breakpoints and much more. such as the ability to tab to automation breakpoints, add rulers to an edit group, and more.
This release also introduces new sound content and instruments for Pro Tools customers with an active subscription or permanent license with a current Software Updates + Support Plan. Please note that while the 2023.3 update is available to all Pro Tools Intro users, they will not have access to the new content and instruments.
The native Apple Silicon Public Beta introduced with Pro Tools 2022.12 was not fully qualified and was missing several key features, including AIR plug-ins and instruments (except Structure Free), support for cloud collaboration and projects, X-Form Audio Suite and algorithms in Elastic Audio, MP3 export, Score Editor, and chord extraction. Pro Tools 2023.3 adds native support for Apple's M1 and M2 processors, and restores the above features that were missing in the public beta.

Pro Tools 2023.3 is available now to all Pro Tools customers with an active subscription or perpetual license with current Software Updates + Support Plan, as well as all Pro Tools Intro users. Please note that Pro Tools Intro users will not have access to Sonic Drop content and the new PlayCell instrument. You can find the update via AVID Link or in your AVID Account.
