Ultra-compact monitoring station
The Lake People MC10 packs the high-quality monitoring capabilities of the MC100 and MC50 models into an extremely compact 108 x 41 x 143 mm form factor. This makes the MC10 the perfect choice for setups with limited space and for mobile use. Thanks to its headphone amplifier featuring excellent Lake People quality, the MC10 outperforms other models when traveling. It is fully bus-powered, so it requires no separate power connection. A Lake People headphone amplifier naturally features an integrated pre-gain circuit, which allows the amplifier to be optimally adjusted to the sensitivity of the headphones in use. If necessary, the MC10 can also be powered by an external power supply to conserve the battery of the connected laptop or tablet.
Flexible and versatile in terms of inputs and outputs
Despite its compact size, the Lake People MC10 is a fully-featured monitor controller with two separate inputs, two outputs, and two headphone jacks. Digital signals can be fed in via USB-C and processed by the high-quality converter as PCM at up to 384 kHz and 32-bit or DSD up to DSD256. You can connect an analog source via RCA. A switch on the front panel toggles between the two inputs. On the output side, speakers (or other downstream devices) can be connected via XLR or RCA. The two front-panel headphone jacks, in 6.3-mm and 3.5-mm formats, carry the same signal and can be used simultaneously. Individual buttons activate the respective outputs, allowing them to be used separately or together for playback.

Manufactured in Germany, the MC10 is built exclusively from carefully selected, high-quality components. For example, the volume is controlled by an Alps RK27 potentiometer, which, with its solid 18-mm knob, provides a pleasant feel when adjusting the volume. The manufacturing precision typical of Lake People guarantees a long, reliable service life—even in mobile use.
Power supply
Der MC10 wird über den USB-C-Anschluss mit Strom versorgt. Für einen rein analogen Betrieb oder zur Entlastung des Host-Geräts steht ein zweiter USB-C-Port für eine externe Stromquelle zur Verfügung.
Headphone amplifier
Despite its size, the MC10 offers impressive power reserves: the built-in headphone amplifier drives both low-impedance and high-impedance headphones with ease. Internal DIP switches allow you to adjust the line-out level and headphone gain to suit your specific setup.
