The G103-D headphone amplifier is designed for use in Dante networks. The G103-D4 model features a Dante 4/4 input and two independent stereo amplifiers. 24-bit/192 kHz D/A converters with a signal-to-noise ratio of >105 dB and a total harmonic distortion of only These are best suited for driving headphones with low to high impedance and low or high sensitivity. To match the amplifier to more demanding headphones, further reduce noise, or maximize the control range of the volume control, the gain can be adjusted internally via DIP switches to optimize the amplifier.

The Connection: DANTE
Audinate's versatile DANTE networking technology is widely used in countless systems. However, an easy and affordable way to connect headphones at different points in these systems is still very rare.
The Lake People G103-D-4 offers:
- Easy integration with existing networks
- Two independent stereo mixes per unit
- High-quality D/A conversion in addition to the qualities of the G103's analog circuitry
The digital DANTE audio signals are fed in via a standard RJ45 connector. The Lake People G103-D4 accepts 4 audio channels. The decoded audio signals are routed to two high-quality D/A converters. The reconstructed analogue signals are buffered, attenuated in the analogue domain and then routed to high-performance headphone amplifiers.
If required, DIP switches on the amplifier can be used to set additional gain of +6 dB or +12 dB. Each amplifier section features a 1/4-inch and a 3.5-mm jack, which can be used simultaneously.
The amplifier is powered either via PoE (Power over Ethernet) or via a USB mains adapter (not included) with a USB-B or USB-C connector.
