Digital controlled analog hardware which works

The sound you want, in the format you need.

SEPIA is the final evolution in audio equipment. This new hardware platform gives Engineers and Creatives the products they want, in the format they need: Portable, flexible, and seamlessly integrated. With SEPIA's patent-pending technology, nothing is emulated, everything is possible, and finally, there is no compromise to the modern audio standard.

No Emulation, no Compromises

SEPIA is an analog system, which means it uses the same transformers, valves, optics, and fets as its larger rack-mount counterparts. SEPIA was designed to allow audio manufacturers to offer their original designs in a smaller, modern form factor with full digital control.

Anywhere by anything

SEPIA is completely digitally controlled. Accepting all major control protocols, including HUI, EUCON, MIDI and OSC, SEPIA can be elegantly controlled from a variety of devices, from a phone to a DAW to a console.

60% Smaller than the 500 Series

SEPIA's rugged, compact form factor allows you to take your sound anywhere. Using SEPIA's technology, what used to be a rackmount unit can now fit comfortably in the palm of your hand.

SEPIA L6 Rack

The L6 is the first of many SEPIA hosts, a LU rack-mount unit designed and built for the professional. It houses 6 modules and has an external I/0 of 8x8 with both digital and analog I/O options.

SEPIA Modules

A SEPIA Module can be anything from microphone preamps, equalizers, dynamics processors, effects, tube designs, DSP and more. Brought to you by your favorite brands, SEPIA modules feature original components and designs, giving you authentic sound in a modular, compact and durable form factor.

Control

With no physical controls, SEPIA utilizes full digital control with a desktop, tablet, phone and plug-in application, as well as seamless integration with consoles and controllers. Create, save, recall, control and automate infinite routing and parameter configurations live.

Routing

Create unprecedented signal chains In addition to flexible analog and digital I/O, SEPIA uses an elegant, digitally controlled, yet fully analog routing matrix to provide not only reliable and easy-to-use routing, but also creative freedom. Route between modules to create the ultimate channel strip, or even split modules in half to route audio between desired stages. Route effortlessly across large SEPIA networks with SEPIA Patch.

Dropout-free

Continuous audio for all eventualities. Built for show-critical applications, SEPIA features passive audio bypass and a redundant power supply option, giving you audio in all eventualities. With digital control, SEPIA is software enhanced, but not dependent - set up, disconnect and leave SEPIA running. Additional safety features have also been implemented, including a two-point latching system and automatic chain re-routing in the event of an accidental module ejection.

Set up and Recall

Recallable network-wide setups. Configure your system on set or remotely from the hardware and recall complete network-wide setups, from module parameters to routing and system configurations. Experience a truly analog system, but with all the benefits, features, and workflows of software.

Power and Thermals

Power efficiently and keep cool. With 6 separate power supplies, each module receives exactly the power it needs to achieve full performance. To keep the system cool, a clever balance of convection, heat sinks, and an array or variable near-silent fans (which automatically activate when needed, responding with only the level of cooling required) provides a discrete yet effective cooling system.

Mainframe

The foundation of SEPIA technology. SEPIA Hosts contain the mainframe, which consists of Universal Elements (UEs) and a state-of-the-art routing matrix. The UEs are atonal stages redesigned to be as compact and efficient as possible. SEPIA's patented bridging signal flow connects the mainframe to modules and their components, such as transformers and op-amps, to form a complete circuit.
