DPA Microphones announces CORE+ technology, a patent-pending innovation that sets a new standard for distortion-free microphone sound. CORE+ eliminates distortion caused by the diaphragm and electronics, allowing for more accurate and detailed sound recording.

CORE+ key features:

• Compatibility with Existing DPA Microphones: All DPA microphones with CORE+ retain their specifications and can be seamlessly combined with existing equipment.
• New THD reference: DPA introduces a new THD benchmark of <0.5% to illustrate the benefits of lower distortion.

CORE+ neutralizes distortion across the full dynamic range of the microphone, making residual noise inaudible and virtually undetectable. The result is pure, clean sound, whether you are recording or amplifying. It also helps you deal with unforeseen challenges, such as someone speaking or singing louder in a live sound environment, or the use of multiple microphones.

The first DPA microphones to feature CORE+ technology are the 5 mm headsets and omnidirectional lavalier microphones (4060, 4061, 4071, 4661, 4066, 4266 and 4466). Miniature cardioid solutions (4088, 4188, 4288 and 4488) and omnidirectional microphones (4166 and 4062) will follow. DPA is also considering adding CORE+ to other popular microphone models.
