Featuring a 2520-style Discrete OP-Amp (DOA), the BAX2020 is capable of producing not only a natural and phase-accurate sound but also a rich, characterful tone – even at extreme settings. The result is a wonderfully musical Baxandall EQ that can be used in a variety of ways: from gentle sparkle in the upper frequencies to subtle analogue ‘drive’ with bass-heavy sources, right through to the elimination of unwanted muddiness in the lower frequencies.
