The Ferrofish VERTOpro MX is a highly flexible format converter and routing hub designed for demanding studio, broadcast, and live environments. Thanks to its extensive range of interfaces, intuitive front-panel operation via a crystal-clear color display, and modern network audio connectivity, the system integrates seamlessly into professional digital setups.

The system offers maximum digital connectivity with up to 128 × 128 MADI channels at 48 kHz and 64 × 64 Dante channels, including AES67 support. It also supports secure redundant or switched network operation. The two MADI ports enable dual MADI streams, redundant connections, and direct cross-routing between MADI and Dante at sample rates of up to 192 kHz.

Control is direct and intuitive via the 3-inch IPS color display on the front panel. It displays level meters, routing, clocking, and device status in real time. A flexible routing matrix is available for signal management, allowing both fast 8-channel block routing and precise single-channel routing. The front-panel headphone monitoring allows any digital input or output signal to be monitored directly without affecting the existing routing.

Practical features such as eight internal preset slots, a device lock to prevent accidental changes, and comprehensive remote control via the RemoteFish software (Windows/macOS) using USB-C or MIDI Control Change commands are also included.
