The new Duet 3 brings the power and features of the next generation Apogee to a beautiful, ultra-slim glass and aluminum chassis. The Duet 3 features built-in hardware DSP with the Symphony ECS Channel Strip for zero-latency recording with FX.

Monitor and mix with the richness and dimension of your sound through two balanced, analog line-level outputs for speakers. And feed your headphones with a dedicated headphone mix.

One of the most important components for high-quality recording is your preamp, and the preamps in the Apogee Duet are top-of-the-line. With up to 65dB of gain and 48V of phantom power, you can record any audio source clearly and accurately, even with the most demanding microphones. Apogee's meticulous design keeps noise and distortion low, even when you crank up the gain.

Connection to the onboard DSP

To get the best recording possible, you need to be able to record quickly and smoothly, and few things are more annoying than recording latency. Duet gives you built-in DSP for Apogee FX processing to precisely shape your sound at the input and give you great-sounding tracks while eliminating the latency that can occur during recording.

TUNED VON BOB CLEARMOUNTAIN

Tuned by legendary mixer Bob Clearmountain, the Symphony ECS Channel Strip* includes EQ, compression, and saturation controls that let you create the optimal mix of channel FX for tracking vocals or acoustic instruments. Choose from several hand-crafted Clearmountain presets and record with zero latency through the Duet's built-in DSP.

Apogee Control 2 Software

The all-new Apogee Control software gives you complete control over all of Duet's functions and features, including Symphony ECS Channel Strip FX running on Duet's hardware DSP. Apogee Control 2 is used by all Apogee products and allows Apogee support and engineering to quickly respond to future macOS and Windows OS updates to ensure compatibility of your workstation.

The Duet knob provides a luxurious and reliable feel for adjusting monitor levels, mic pre gain, and navigating through functions. The new Duet Breakout cable has been redesigned with optimized connectors and longer cables. So you can connect everything together and easily store it on your desk for a clean and organized workspace.

Duet Dock - The ultimate Duet Desktop experience

Duet has set the standard for making and recording music on the go with its small footprint and flexible breakout cable. But when you're working in your studio, the Duet 3 is best used with the new Duet Dock (sold separately). The dock positions the Duet at the ideal angle for quick adjustments and visibility of displays and functions. Connectors on the back of the Duet Dock make it easier to organize and connect your cables to the Duet.
