Compatibility

SoundSaver works equally well on Mac or Windows, so you can get started recording, cleaning up, and enjoying your digitized analog media on practically any computer - here's what you'll need:

System Requirements

Mac

  • G4, G5, or Intel-based Mac (≥ 1 GHz)
  • Mac OS X 10.5 or later
  • 1.25 GB RAM
  • 25 MB available disk space


Windows

  • Intel CPU (P4 or greater), or AMD Athlon CPU, with SSE inst. (≥ 1.5 GHz)
  • Windows 7, Vista, or XP (SP3)
  • 2 GB RAM for Windows 7 or Vista; 1 GB RAM for XP
  • 55 MB available disk space


Both

  • Hard drive with 18 ms (or faster) access time
  • 10 MB/minute available disk space for recordings
  • QuickTime 7 or greater (for opening certain file types, such as MP3)


Recording, Playback and File Format Support

  • Supports recording and playback resolutions up to 32-bit/96kHz
  • Supports built-in and compatible audio hardware
  • Save as uncompressed WAV, MP3, or directly to iTunes
  • Opens iTunes WAV, WAV, AIFF, iTunes MP3, MP3, AAC, Apple Lossless
