The allround solution for your DAW

Samplitude 11 Pro

Samplitude is purely native PC software and therefore independent of proprietary audio hardware. Basically, that means the program works just as well on a laptop as on an audio workstation with dozens of inputs and outputs. Simply pre-produce a song on a laptop and then complete the mixing later using a studio system. Samplitude provides all of the freedom you need to choose your own system. MME, ASIO*, and WDM support all important driver models. In contrast to other digital audio workstations, Samplitude enables a complete in-the-box workflow, whereby all steps, from composition recording and sound creation using VST instruments to editing, mixing, and mastering the finished CD, take place within a single program.

Revolver Tracks

The revolver tracks system is a type of rotation that may be used to replace various takes of a complete track behind the defined effects, fades and track settings. Different compositions of the track may also be produced. Different solos and parts may be easily switched back and forth in context, or exchanged and tested against each other in their effect in the final mix, without making any other changes in the arrangement. You may choose at any time if you would like to add a revolver track as a copy (e.g. for variation of effects or fades),or if you would like to create a new, empty revolver track. The time the respective variation was added to the original track is also displayed. The revolver tracks created can be displayed at any time in the Take Composer in a a clearly laid-out manner.

5.1 Surround

Samplitude Pro offers several possibilities for mixing audio material in various multi-channel formats. All of the channels in the Surround Master may be assigned to any playback device and distributed to the existing Surround busses. But besides tracks, objects may also be routed directly to the Surround master to work via the Surround panorama module. Existing projects may also be mixed in the Surround format.

The approach is quite easy to understand:
Each audio track and every object may be assigned via the arranger to a specific position in the Surround panorama and then enriched with presets and effects.
