The Bass Pentagon

Designed as an active full range subwoofer in a compact pentagon-shaped unit, the ADM B3 exerts full control over the entire bass spectrum. The bass reflex design of the pentagon housing has been flow-optimized using simulation calculations and permits the reproduction of the lowest frequencies with greater sound pressure for the first time. The (linear) reproduction range extends from 30Hz up to the crossover frequency of the connected satellite speakers. A mono-crossover adds the bass portion of the input signal and feeds the 200 Watt PWM-Amp of the ADM B3. The loudspeakers connected to the stereo output receive the appropriate line level signal above 80 Hz. The ADM B3 is thus ideally suitable as the bass
extension of the entire COAX-Line series. In the event that greater sound pressure is required, two ADM B3’s in connection with the ADM30 combine to create an extremely precise and complete 3-way
active loudspeaker system.
